The Royal Commission on Toponymy and Dialectology is pulling out all the stops to celebrate its centennial with a large event in the historic setting of the Palace of the Academies.
As an enthusiastic partner, the NGI is joining the festivities on the occasion of its own 50th anniversary with the official presentation of a new book on the history of cartography in Belgium in collaboration with publisher Lannoo.
During the afternoon workshops, open to the general public, the NGI will also be present with a stand and activities to share our work and expertise in toponymy.
