The VLA unites all geographers, both in education and beyond.
It is an opportunity for the NGI to present its products and services to the many visitors: our historical and topographic maps, our service for tailor-made maps, and our digital products such as Cartesius and topomapviewer. This year’s annual conference focuses on Flemish rivers under the theme ‘Blauwe aders op de kaart’ (Blue arteries on the map). As well as shaping the landscape, rivers are lifelines for economy, transportation and habitation. The annual conference is always an exciting day full of interesting encounters!
